We chose the word “Wave” for two of its definitions that, when intertwined, define the heartbeat of our mission. “Wave” can mean a simple, universal greeting, acknowledgement, and sign of respect. It can also mean a sudden occurrence of, or increase in a specified phenomenon, feeling, energy or emotion. We know firsthand the power that community support can have when facing personal challenges or tragedy.
